Enterprise Sales Development Representative
Axon is seeking an Enterprise Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. This role is integral to our mission of protecting life by expanding our reach into commercial markets beyond public safety. As part of a fast-paced, startup-like environment within the organization, you'll collaborate closely with Strategic Account Executives to drive the adoption of Axon's innovative products and services.
In this quota-carrying position, your primary responsibilities will include outbound lead generation for commercial markets, identifying and engaging target prospects, and generating interest in Axon's enterprise solutions to build a robust sales pipeline. You'll work closely with Marketing, Sales Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure sales effectiveness, establish relationships with key stakeholders within enterprise accounts, and contribute to building foundational processes for the Axon Enterprise Team. Additionally, approximately 25% of your time will involve supporting existing Account Executives in sales activities, including on-site travel to Fortune 500 companies across the country.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree (preferred) and 2-4 years of B2B experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), or sales role. We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive, organized, and self-sufficient team player who is customer-focused, creative, and an effective communicator in both written and verbal forms. The ability to learn a SaaS product and effectively communicate Axon's value to potential customers is essential. A self-starter eager to learn and contribute to building our business from the ground up, with attention to detail and a passion for working in a fast-paced international environment, will thrive in this role.
