Enterprise Sales Development Representative
Axon is seeking an Enterprise Sales Development Representative to join a dynamic team focused on expanding our reach into commercial markets beyond public safety. This role is integral to our mission of protecting life by introducing our innovative devices and cloud software solutions to new sectors. As part of a startup-like environment within the organization, you'll collaborate closely with Strategic Account Executives to develop and implement effective sales pipeline strategies.
In this quota-carrying position, your primary responsibilities will include outbound lead generation for commercial markets, closing small to medium-sized business deals, and generating interest in Axon's enterprise solutions within target accounts. You'll identify and engage key prospects, refine prospect messaging, and work in tandem with Marketing, Sales Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure sales effectiveness. Establishing and nurturing relationships with stakeholders in enterprise accounts and contributing to the foundational processes of the Axon Enterprise Team are also key aspects of this role. Additionally, approximately 25% of your time will be dedicated to supporting existing Account Executives in sales activities, including on-site travel to Fortune 500 companies across the country.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (preferred) and have 2-4 years of B2B experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), or similar sales role. We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive, and organized team player who is customer-focused, creative, and an effective communicator. The ability to learn and articulate the value of a SaaS product, attention to detail, and a passion for working in a fast-paced international environment are essential.
