Postman, the world's leading API platform, is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to join their team in Tel Aviv, Israel. This role involves collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, assisting enterprise customers with technical challenges, leading discovery sessions, and shaping their API strategies. Postman is headquartered in San Francisco and has offices in Boston, New York, Austin, Tokyo, London, and Bangalore.
As an Enterprise Solutions Engineer, your key responsibilities will include leading technical discovery sessions to uncover customer challenges, building and nurturing relationships with technical leaders and decision-makers, collaborating with customers to set clear success criteria, designing and delivering tailored proofs of concept, and working closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment across plans and execution. You will also maintain a deep understanding of Postman's capabilities, the API ecosystem, and industry trends, and represent Postman at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in technical consulting, pre-sales engineering, or related roles, and over 5 years of experience in software engineering. Expertise in REST and GraphQL APIs, API lifecycle management tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Kong, Apigee), CI/CD and automation, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is required. Excellent communication skills in English, with comfort in customer-facing presentations, and the ability to travel up to 25% across the region, with occasional global travel for company events, are also necessary.
