Enterprise Solutions Engineer, Italy
Postman, the world's leading API platform, is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to support the growth of its enterprise business in Italy. This role involves partnering with the sales team to promote an API-first development culture, nurturing customer relationships, and guiding users in leveraging Postman's platform to build their APIs effectively. The position is remote, with the flexibility to travel up to 50%.
In this role, you will drive enterprise sales by nurturing prospects and supporting strategic and enterprise customers. Your responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-value workshops with prospective customers. You will address technical questions or objections, provide solutions or workarounds, and help customers adopt API-first development best practices. Additionally, you will share customer feedback with appropriate teams, stay updated on the competitive landscape, and create proof-of-concept integrations and workflows as needed.
The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of enterprise sales or solutions engineering experience, with at least 4 years in software development and API and data platforms. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required. You should be comfortable engaging with all levels of technologists, including developers, QA, product, and engineering leaders, and have experience engaging senior management and executive audiences. A strong understanding of APIs, modern development methodologies, and DevOps is essential, along with familiarity with enterprise SaaS sales processes and common security concerns of cloud services.
