Enterprise Solutions Engineer, Netherlands
Postman, the world's leading API platform, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Solutions Engineer to support its rapidly growing enterprise customer base in the Netherlands. This role involves collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to deliver technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. As a trusted advisor, the engineer will help customers understand how Postman's platform can streamline their API lifecycle, improve collaboration, and drive innovation. The position is remote, based in the Netherlands.
Key responsibilities include leading technical discovery sessions to uncover customer challenges, building and nurturing relationships with technical leaders, and collaborating with customers to set success criteria and deliver tailored proofs of concept. The engineer will also work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment across plans and execution, maintain a deep understanding of Postman's capabilities and industry trends, and represent Postman at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in technical consulting, pre-sales engineering, or related roles, and over 5 years of experience in software engineering. Expertise in REST and GraphQL APIs, API lifecycle management tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Kong, Apigee), CI/CD and automation, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is required. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, with Dutch language skills considered a plus. The role requires the ability to travel up to 25% across the EMEA region, with occasional global travel for company events.
