Enterprise Solutions Engineer, UK
Postman, the world's leading API platform, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Solutions Engineer to support its growing enterprise customer base in the UK and Ireland. This role involves collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. As a trusted advisor, the Enterprise Solutions Engineer will help customers understand how Postman's platform can streamline their API lifecycle, improve collaboration, and drive innovation.
In this position, the Enterprise Solutions Engineer will lead technical discovery sessions to uncover customer challenges and determine how Postman can provide value. They will build and nurture strong relationships with technical leaders and decision-makers, offering guidance on best practices for leveraging Postman effectively. The role also involves collaborating with customers to set clear success criteria, designing and delivering tailored proofs of concept, and conducting engaging demos, workshops, and hands-on sessions that highlight Postman's strengths. Additionally, the Enterprise Solutions Engineer will work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment across plans and execution, driving outcomes that support customer goals.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in technical consulting, pre-sales engineering, or related roles, and over 5 years of experience in software engineering. Expertise in REST and GraphQL APIs, API lifecycle management tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Kong, Apigee), CI/CD and automation, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern software development practices is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, with comfort in customer-facing presentations, are required. The role may require up to 25% travel across the EMEA region, with occasional global travel for company events.
