Field Deployment Engineer, Professional Services
The Field Deployment Engineer, Professional Services role at Axon is pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of Axon's products and solutions within the public safety sector. This position involves working closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver technical support, training, and deployment services that align with Axon's mission to protect life and make communities safer.
Key responsibilities include providing timely and professional technical support to customers through various channels, leading onsite and remote installations of Axon hardware and software, and delivering technical training and onboarding to customers and partners. The role also involves collaborating with local partners and distributors to support their technical readiness and field performance, maintaining deep expertise across the Axon product ecosystem, and documenting and escalating product issues to Engineering and Product teams.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a technical support, professional services, or field implementation role, with strong technical knowledge in networking, relational databases, cloud services, digital video, mobile communications, embedded systems, IAM, and SaaS. Proficiency in diagnosing and integrating complex IT systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and fluency in both English and Italian are essential. The role requires the ability to work independently and remotely, with a willingness to travel up to 40% within the region and abroad.
