Field Manager – Data, Optimization & AI (m/w/d)
As a Field Manager – Data, Optimization & AI at Via, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our on-demand RMV services in the Frankfurt area. This position combines hands-on management with strategic oversight, allowing you to directly influence the quality and reliability of our transportation services. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing mobility solutions through innovative technologies.
Your daily responsibilities will include overseeing the operational aspects of our services, making real-time decisions regarding fleet management, driver availability, and addressing unforeseen challenges. You will leverage data analytics to identify areas for improvement, implement process optimizations, and lead AI and automation projects from conception to execution. Additionally, you will foster strong relationships with drivers, provide guidance to enhance team performance, and act as a liaison between Via's partners, drivers, and central teams to drive continuous service enhancements.
Ideal candidates will have a background in operations management, logistics, or customer service, with a proven ability to manage teams effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for building trust with drivers, riders, and city partners. A data-driven approach, proficiency in digital tools, and experience with AI technologies are crucial for success in this role. Fluency in both German and English at a C1 level and possession of a valid German driver's license (Class B) are required.
The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from €45,000 to €55,000 per year, determined based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits encompass a company pension scheme with a 20% employer contribution, a membership to the Urban Sports Club, and 30 vacation days annually.
