Finance Expert - Quant
As a Quantitative Finance Expert at xAI, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to develop AI systems that accurately understand the universe and aid humanity in its pursuit of knowledge. In this role, you will utilize proprietary software to provide high-quality inputs and labels for defined projects, supporting the training of new AI tasks and the implementation of innovative initiatives. Collaborating closely with our technical staff, you will help improve the design of efficient annotation tools and select complex problems from advanced quantitative finance domains, such as portfolio optimization, derivatives pricing, or high-frequency trading backtests, providing rigorous solutions and model critiques.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or PhD in a quantitative finance-related field, such as Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics with a quantitative focus, or have equivalent professional experience as a quantitative trader or analyst. Proficiency in reading and writing both informal and professional English, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to exercise autonomous judgment with limited data are essential. A passion for technological advancements and innovation in quantitative finance is highly valued.
Compensation for U.S.-based candidates ranges from $45 to $100 per hour, depending on factors including relevant experience, skills, education, geographic location, and qualifications.
