Fraud Detection Analyst
Trustpilot is seeking a Fraud Detection Analyst to join its global Fraud & Investigations team in London. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity of Trustpilot's platform by identifying and mitigating fraudulent activities, thereby protecting consumers and businesses alike. The analyst will collaborate with a team dedicated to upholding trust and transparency across the company's services.
The primary responsibilities include analyzing data to detect fraud patterns using tools such as SQL, Google BigQuery, and Google Looker. The analyst will develop and implement rules to prevent fraudulent behavior, conduct investigations into potential platform misuse, and assist with inquiries from media, legal teams, and customers. Additionally, the role involves partnering with data science and engineering teams to enhance fraud detection technologies and internal tools.
Candidates should have experience in data analytics or a related analytical role, with proficiency in handling large datasets and writing queries in SQL or similar languages. A strong ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights is essential. While prior knowledge of formulating rules to combat fraudulent behavior is advantageous, it is not mandatory. The role requires a proactive mindset and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
