Freelance Brand Motion Designer - Performance Marketing/Social (Philippines)
Canva is seeking a Freelance Brand Motion Designer to join its Growth Marketing team on a 6-month contract, focusing on the Philippine market. This role involves creating performance-driven motion design assets for various marketing channels, including paid platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Google Display, as well as owned channels such as lifecycle emails and app store assets. The designer will collaborate closely with marketers to develop on-brand visuals optimized for performance.
Key responsibilities include designing and adapting static, video, and motion ads across multiple platforms, editing and optimizing user-generated content videos for ad sprints, and contributing to the conceptualization of growth marketing campaigns and lifecycle assets. The role also entails ensuring all outputs are tailored to channel specifications, maintain brand consistency, and are localized for the Philippine market. Additionally, the designer will share creative insights to enhance future testing and production efforts.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong design portfolio showcasing digital ads, motion graphics, or user-generated content video edits. Proficiency in design tools is essential, along with experience creating content for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and have the ability to adapt creative concepts across various formats and sizes. Collaboration skills are crucial, as is an understanding of local Filipino cultural trends and the ability to translate them into design.
This freelance engagement is structured on a pay-per-output model, suitable for individuals with approximately 30 hours of availability per week. While the role supports flexible, remote-friendly work arrangements, a focus on Manila is preferred to facilitate team collaboration and support.
