Full Stack Engineer
Counterpart is an insurtech platform reimagining management and professional liability for the modern workplace. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor, leveraging AI throughout your development workflow to build a seamless platform that bridges Product, Insurance, Data, and AI. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Spain, or Peru.
In this position, you will modernize insurance application workflows by enhancing our Django system to automate processes for the Risk Engineering team. Collaborating with Data and Risk Engineering teams, you will integrate AI into various workflows, create AI platforms to enhance agent adoption, and develop new services to enable the Claims team to process a larger volume of complex claims. Additionally, you will work with engineering leaders to establish AI-enabled development standards and improve the remote development experience.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated proficiency using AI coding assistants as core development tools, experience using AI for system design and architecture decisions, and a comfort with AI-first workflows. Technical qualifications include 5+ years of experience with Python, 2+ years with Django, 2+ years with relational databases (PostgreSQL), 2+ years with TypeScript, and experience working on a remote team.
Compensation for this contract role is estimated between USD $80,000 and $90,000 annually. Additional benefits include the ability to work from anywhere, language class sponsorship up to $100 per calendar year, paid vacation and time off, parental leave, and reimbursement for a locally procured MacBook Pro.
