General Ledger Lead

Nabis is seeking a General Ledger Lead to oversee a team of five offshore contractors, managing critical financial processes such as month-end close, retailer accounts receivable reconciliation, and credit confirmation processing. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations within the company.

The General Ledger Lead will be responsible for supervising the execution of month-end close activities, ensuring accurate reconciliations and reporting. Key duties include managing retailer accounts receivable reconciliations, overseeing vendor payments, and resolving escalated financial issues. Collaboration with senior management to prepare for external audits is also a significant aspect of this role.

Candidates should possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with at least five years of general ledger accounting experience. Proven leadership experience in accounting operations is essential. Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage Intacct are required. Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary to manage multiple deadlines and lead a remote team effectively.
