Global Technical Account Management Lead, Cash App Pay, Afterpay & Clearpay
Block is seeking a Global Technical Account Management Lead to oversee the Technical Account Management (TAM) team supporting Cash App Pay, Afterpay, and Clearpay merchants. This role involves leading a distributed team across the US, UK, and Australia, focusing on post-sales technical partnerships to enhance merchant performance and drive commercial outcomes.
The primary responsibilities include defining and executing the global TAM strategy, transitioning the team from reactive support to proactive merchant enablement, and establishing clear goals and performance metrics. The lead will also serve as the escalation point for critical merchant issues, collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to represent merchant interests, and build strong partnerships with Account Management, Sales, and Solutions Engineering teams.
Candidates should have extensive experience in technical account management, a proven track record of leading distributed teams, and strong technical and commercial acumen. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams are essential.
