GSOC Security Officer
As a GSOC Security Officer at Axon, you will be an integral part of the Global Security Operations Center, reporting directly to the Global Security Operations Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to safeguard Axon's global operations and assets, ensuring a secure environment for employees, clients, and partners. This role involves utilizing advanced technology to monitor and respond to security incidents, contributing to Axon's mission to protect life.
In this position, you will monitor various alarms, including fire, door, and duress alarms, and respond to routine and emergency calls. You will oversee CCTV systems to protect the building and assets, preventing and addressing potential security threats. Responding to life safety incidents such as medical emergencies and natural disasters, you will coordinate with security officers, the Emergency Response Team (ERT), and external emergency services as needed. Additionally, you will create dispatch records, initiate incident reports, and collaborate on projects related to the GSOC role.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate or bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field preferred. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, or related fields is required. Familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems, the ability to manage multiple lines of communication, and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
