Key responsibilities include leading the Placement team to obtain insurance quotations from General Insurance companies within service level agreements (SLA) and directing the After Sales team in processing claims, assisting clients with endorsements, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also involves negotiating terms, conditions, and pricing with insurance companies on behalf of clients, maintaining a good hit ratio, and ensuring claim decisions are made within SLA with justified appraisal results. Additionally, the position requires developing and maintaining relationships with key leaders in General Insurance companies, appealing rejected claims, and collaborating with the Head of Marketing to achieve the company's revenue goals.
The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience as a leader in placement and after-sales within insurance brokerage firms. A wide network and strong relationships with key leaders of insurance companies are essential. A degree or certificate in insurance brokerage or insurance is advantageous. The candidate must possess a solid understanding of general insurance products across all lines of risks and businesses, strong knowledge of insurance terms and conditions, and the claim appeal process. Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills, along with good interpersonal abilities to work both individually and as part of a team, are also required.
