The role also involves reviewing customer feedback to assess the fairness and effectiveness of collections activities, designing end-to-end customer journeys and treatment strategies, and building reporting frameworks that provide insights into operational effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading teams through the entire collections and recoveries lifecycle, particularly in retail lending. They should possess extensive knowledge of the debt management industry and relevant regulations, experience working with regulators and managing third-party relationships, and the ability to influence senior leaders across various business areas. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving aptitude, and expertise in data analytics and reporting are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
