Head of Industry - Retail & CPG
As the Head of Industry - Retail & CPG at Celonis, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the Retail & CPG Industry Practice. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Go-To-Market (GTM), product, AI, and engineering, to develop and scale software solutions that address critical business challenges in the retail and consumer packaged goods sectors. You will serve as the primary representative of the Retail & CPG industry both internally and externally, ensuring the success of clients, team members, and partners.
Key responsibilities include defining the vision for the Retail & CPG industry practice and translating it into a strategic action plan. You will build and lead a cross-functional team across Value Engineering, Sales, and AI, establishing processes and structures to enhance the company's impact within the industry. Working closely with customers, you will align Celonis' solutions with their business strategies and collaborate with product, engineering, and GTM leaders to inform future product development based on customer feedback. Additionally, you will identify and package scalable use cases across the Celonis platform to drive innovation and expand offerings, while enabling internal teams and partners to effectively position and deploy Retail & CPG solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record of building and leading cross-functional teams to develop software solutions addressing strategic Retail & CPG industry problems. A high degree of entrepreneurship, with experience in building from the ground up, is essential. Excellence in public speaking and external presentations is required, along with demonstrated experience in developing enterprise software solutions that solve real-world problems. Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for a diverse range of stakeholders, from boardroom executives to end users.
