Head of Marketing Analytics
Postman, the world's leading API platform, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Marketing Analytics to build and lead a high-impact analytics function within Revenue Marketing. This role is pivotal in transforming marketing into a fully data-driven revenue engine, providing clarity on performance, pipeline contribution, ROI, and growth opportunities across integrated campaigns, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), lifecycle, and holistic search strategies. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, strong technical depth, and business acumen to connect marketing activities to revenue outcomes, influence executive decision-making, and build scalable reporting frameworks that drive actionable insights. This leader will manage a small but high-leverage team and collaborate closely with Campaigns, ABM, Digital, Search, Events, Sales, and Finance teams.
Key responsibilities include designing and evolving marketing attribution models aligned with pipeline and revenue impact, establishing a unified measurement framework across paid, organic, ABM, events, and lifecycle channels, and quantifying marketing’s contribution to sourced and influenced pipeline. The role also involves defining standardized KPIs across integrated campaigns and channels, developing reporting frameworks that go beyond Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to pipeline and revenue efficiency, analyzing channel mix performance to recommend budget optimization, and supporting holistic search strategy by evaluating blended paid and organic performance. Additionally, the Head of Marketing Analytics will develop account-level performance dashboards, measure engagement depth, buying group influence, and deal acceleration impact, and partner with ABM and Events teams to optimize field and event ROI. The role also includes building predictive models for pipeline generation and conversion, supporting annual and quarterly planning with data-driven projections, modeling spend scenarios and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) to Lifetime Value (LTV) trade-offs, and identifying leading indicators of pipeline performance. Collaboration with Revenue Operations (RevOps) to ensure clean, scalable data architecture, improving tracking integrity across campaigns and channels, ensuring marketing automation and CRM data consistency, and building actionable dashboards trusted by leadership are also key aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in marketing analytics, revenue analytics, or growth analytics within B2B environments, with a strong background in demand generation, ABM, and paid media. Deep expertise in attribution modeling and funnel analysis is essential, along with experience managing analytics or Business Intelligence (BI) teams. A strong proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing automation platforms is required, as well as familiarity with SEO/SEM performance frameworks and multi-channel measurement. Technical capabilities should include advanced SQL and data analysis skills, experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI, and a strong understanding of attribution models (multi-touch, W-shaped, data-driven, etc.). Experience building forecasting and predictive models, and a strong understanding of CAC, LTV, payback period, and pipeline velocity metrics are also important.
The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $240,000 to $275,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Postman offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and a flexible schedule.
