Head of Risk Management
As the Head of Risk Management at DriveWealth, you will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework for a pioneering Brokerage-as-a-Service platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's global expansion is underpinned by a sophisticated and resilient risk infrastructure, aligning with DriveWealth's mission to democratize access to financial markets worldwide.
Key responsibilities include designing and iterating the firm-wide ERM program, enhancing Risk Appetite Statements, and establishing tolerance thresholds. You will standardize core ERM components such as Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), risk policy creation, and a centralized issue management framework. Additionally, you will oversee control assurance programs, develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and create executive-level dashboards to provide real-time insights into the firm's risk posture.
The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in risk management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role at a FINRA-registered Broker-Dealer or a related financial technology firm. A proven track record in managing liquidity, margin, and trading risks is essential. Relevant FINRA licenses, such as Series 7 and 24, are highly preferred, with Series 4 or 9/10 being a significant plus. An ownership mentality and the ability to build from the ground up in a fast-paced, high-growth environment are crucial for success in this role.
DriveWealth offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $275,000 to $325,000 USD.
