Senior Data Analyst, RegTech
The RegTech team at DriveWealth is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to develop and maintain data products essential for the compliance department to meet regulatory obligations. This role involves creating, monitoring, and optimizing data marts, feeds, and dashboards for internal compliance and external regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the trade lifecycle and collaborate effectively with data engineers, product managers, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Key responsibilities include responding promptly to ad-hoc data requests and regulatory examinations, architecting and maintaining data marts and reports for critical regulatory functions such as CAT, EBS, trade monitoring, and AML, and continuously optimizing data models and queries for performance and scalability. The role also entails proactively detecting and reporting data anomalies, defining and documenting core business logic within data marts, monitoring inbound regulatory data files and feeds, translating regulatory requirements into precise data flows, and leading comprehensive data testing initiatives.
Candidates must have deep domain knowledge in FinTech and capital markets, with a strong understanding of the trade and order lifecycle and U.S. regulatory reporting requirements. Proven experience in implementing and monitoring data for core regulatory processes is essential. Proficiency in SQL and experience with business intelligence reporting tools, preferably Sigma Computing, are required. Additional skills in Python, dbt, NoSQL, and familiarity with Databricks, AWS, Airflow, GitHub, and Agile development are advantageous.
