HR Specialist
Axon is seeking a People Operations Specialist to join its HR Operations team in Seattle, Washington. This role focuses on executing and supporting key People Ops processes across the employee lifecycle, including mid-lifecycle requests, HRIS transactions, and day-to-day employee support. The position reports to the Senior Vice President of Talent Acquisition and HR Operations and requires on-site presence four days a week.
The HR Specialist will partner with various teams, such as HR Business Partners, Legal, Payroll, and others, to execute mid to end-life cycle employee needs. Daily interactions with leaders and employees are essential to maintain open communication and address concerns as they arise. Responsibilities include acting as a superuser for HRIS and other systems, ensuring data integrity, generating reports, and providing insights to automate and improve HR processes to enhance the employee experience. Compliance with local employment laws and regulations is also a key aspect of the role.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, management, or a business-related field, along with at least two years of experience in an HR role. Proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably Workday, and Applicant Tracking Systems is required. The role demands strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, excellent interpersonal communication, a customer service mindset, and a proactive approach to anticipating and addressing stakeholder needs.
