As the High Voltage (HV) Project Manager at AirTrunk, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design and construction of high voltage systems that exceed local standards and requirements. Reporting to the Utility & Power Manager based in Sydney, you will collaborate closely with Technology, Development, and Operations teams to drive the development of HV networks across new and existing data center sites.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and managing HV network designs, advising on primary and secondary systems, SCADA, earthing, and DC systems. You will provide practical solutions to electrical development challenges, control HV network topology during construction and commissioning phases, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to AirTrunk's exacting standards. Additionally, you will negotiate with supply authorities, supervise contractors, and identify cost-saving opportunities and system improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience as an HV Project Manager or Engineer, preferably within a utility or electrical contracting environment. Extensive experience in HV substation design and construction is essential, along with excellent technical knowledge of HV systems and assets such as switchgear, transformers, protection relays, DC systems, SCADA systems, and HV networks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work across diverse teams are also required. A willingness to travel throughout Australia, particularly in New South Wales and Victoria, is preferred.
