Axon is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join its Global Training Services team, focusing on the Enterprise market. This role involves designing and developing high-quality learning experiences, primarily delivered through video and eLearning, to support the adoption and effective use of Axon products by enterprise customers. The training created will help thousands of frontline workers and security professionals across large organizations build confidence and competence with Axon technology in their specific environments.

The Instructional Designer will collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze training needs and translate technical, operational, and product content into engaging learning experiences tailored for enterprise audiences. Responsibilities include designing and developing video-based and blended learning content, creating and editing instructional videos using tools such as Camtasia and Adobe Premiere Pro, and developing eLearning content using tools like Articulate Storyline and PowerPoint. The role also involves contextualizing product training for different enterprise verticals and personas, localizing and adapting training content for specific industries and regions, and applying adult learning theory and instructional design best practices to all learning solutions.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 3 years of experience in instructional design with a strong emphasis on digital and video-based learning. Demonstrated experience creating instructional videos and multimedia learning content, hands-on experience with tools such as Camtasia and Articulate Storyline, and strong project management skills are essential. The ability to translate complex technical information into clear, learner-focused content and a willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 2–3 days per quarter) are also required.
