Internal Audit Assistant Manager
Cermati is seeking an Internal Audit Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in Jakarta, Indonesia. As a leading financial technology startup, Cermati simplifies the process of finding and applying for financial products online, enabling users to compare and apply without visiting a bank. In this critical role, you will perform regular corporate risk assessments, establish relevant standard operating procedures, and promote a compliance culture through effective communication and regular audit activities. You will oversee the end-to-end audit process across all divisions, supporting audit activities from regulators, partners, and investors.
Key responsibilities include creating and executing audit framework plans, ensuring timely and efficient completion of internal audit activities in line with industry standards, managing misconduct cases and developing improvement programs as necessary, collaborating with diverse business units to enhance compliance processes, contributing to the continual improvement of the risk management framework, and preparing periodic reports on audit results and improvement suggestions for senior management.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in internal audit, risk, and controls, preferably within the fintech or financial sector. Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize workloads, and resilience under pressure are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders are required. A solid understanding of corporate compliance and governance practices, along with a structured thought process and strong analytical abilities, are crucial. Certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) are advantageous. Knowledge and experience with financial regulatory authorities like OJK, BI, and Bappebti are also beneficial.
