Investment Banking Expert - ECM
xAI is seeking an Investment Banking Expert specializing in Equity Capital Markets (ECM) to enhance its AI models by providing high-quality data annotations and inputs tailored to ECM contexts. This role involves leveraging expertise in equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, secondary offerings, underwriting, bookbuilding, prospectus drafting, roadshows, and equity issuance processes, to support the training of AI systems. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a highly motivated team focused on engineering excellence within a flat organizational structure.
Key responsibilities include utilizing proprietary software to provide accurate input and labels for ECM investment banking projects, ensuring high-quality data for AI model training. The expert will deliver curated data for scenarios involving various equity capital markets transactions and collaborate with technical staff to support the training of new AI tasks. Additionally, the role involves assisting in designing and improving efficient annotation tools tailored for ECM data and analyzing complex problems in ECM fields to enhance AI model performance.
Candidates must have professional experience in ECM investment banking or related fields, such as roles focused on equity capital markets. Proficiency in reading and writing both informal and professional English is required, along with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills. The role demands excellent reading comprehension and the ability to exercise autonomous judgment with limited data, as well as a passion for technological advancements and innovation in ECM investment banking.
The position offers an hourly compensation ranging from $45 to $100, depending on factors including relevant experience, skills, education, geographic location, and qualifications. Specific benefits vary by country, and for U.S.-based positions, benefits may include health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave. Note that benefits are not offered for part-time roles.
