The IT Operations Co-Op at Audax Group serves as the initial point of contact for daily IT operational tasks within the organization. This role is integral to maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's technology infrastructure, ensuring that all support requests are addressed promptly and professionally. Audax Group, founded in 1999, is a leading alternative investment manager with offices in Boston, New York, San Francisco, London, and Hong Kong, managing approximately $42 billion in assets across its Private Equity, Private Debt, and Strategic Capital divisions.

Key responsibilities include responding to service requests in a timely manner, setting customer expectations regarding resolution times, and following up to ensure overall satisfaction. The co-op will assist in deploying, maintaining, supporting, upgrading, and tracking client technology assets such as desktops, laptops, phones, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals. Additionally, the role involves performing tasks related to adds, moves, changes, and the relocation of IT assets during office or workspace moves. The co-op may also provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, applications, printers, networking, remote access, and telephony.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a BS/BA program and possess the ability to deliver business-quality written and verbal communications, interacting professionally with individuals at all organizational levels. The role requires self-motivation, multitasking capabilities, and the ability to prioritize and perform various concurrent tasks with limited direction. Technological qualifications include basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows OS, macOS, Apple iOS, MS Outlook, MS Office 365, and hardware and software installation and deployment.

The position is based in Boston, MA, with an in-office requirement of five days per week, offering some flexibility. These requirements may be adjusted based on business needs. The co-op term runs from June 2026 to December 2026. Compensation for this role ranges from $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, with the potential for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
