The IT Services Technician at xAI is a pivotal role within the company's dynamic IT team, responsible for delivering first-line technical support to the Tutors Space. This position focuses on resolving basic IT issues, facilitating onboarding processes, and escalating complex problems to specialized teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, possesses strong problem-solving abilities, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include providing technical support via phone, email, or in-person for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The technician will troubleshoot and resolve basic IT problems, assist users with software installations and account setups, and log all service requests in the ticketing system. Additional duties involve escalating unresolved issues, maintaining IT knowledge base articles, performing routine maintenance tasks, and supporting new hire onboarding and offboarding processes.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Entry-level applicants with 0-2 years of experience in IT or a related field are encouraged to apply. A basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common software applications is required. Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and basic networking concepts, along with strong communication and customer service skills, is essential. The ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and work after hours and graveyard shifts is also necessary.

The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, along with equity options.
