Key Account Executive
The Key Account Executive at Axon is a pivotal role focused on selling Axon's products and services to law enforcement agencies within the Northeast territory, specifically New Jersey and Massachusetts. This position is integral to Axon's mission to Protect Life by providing innovative public safety solutions. The role requires a professional capable of articulating complex solutions, building and maintaining senior-level relationships, and navigating customer agencies and procurement processes.
Key responsibilities include managing and growing revenue and market share at designated agencies to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve strategic objectives. The executive will develop and maintain client relationships to drive revenue growth, execute account strategies by collaborating with the account team, and track customer activity in internal systems to identify additional opportunities. Ensuring effective service delivery, focusing on customer satisfaction, and developing proper contact networks within accounts are also essential duties.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of successful customer-facing Software (SaaS/Cloud) sales experience and at least 3 years of experience managing a book of business of major accounts. Solution or consultative sales experience within complex sales processes is required, along with data management experience using Salesforce or similar CRM. A strong understanding of Cloud and SaaS is essential. The role demands the ability to travel over 70% of the time, including overnight travel, and the capacity to clearly articulate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Compensation includes competitive on-target earnings with uncapped commissions and a 401K plan with employer match.
