Key Account Leader
The Key Account Leader at Axon is a pivotal role responsible for selling Axon's products and services to law enforcement agencies within the Northeast territory, specifically New Jersey and Massachusetts. This position is integral to Axon's mission to protect life by providing innovative solutions to public safety challenges. The role involves significant travel, with expectations of being on the road 50% to 70% of the time, and reports directly to the Director of Sales, East.
Key responsibilities include managing and expanding revenue and market share at designated agencies to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve strategic objectives. The Key Account Leader will develop and maintain client relationships, execute account strategies in collaboration with the account team, track customer activities to identify additional opportunities, and ensure effective service delivery. Additionally, the role involves overseeing all account activities, driving overall customer satisfaction, providing product training as necessary, and managing individual expense budgets.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of successful customer-facing software (SaaS/Cloud) sales experience and at least 3 years of experience managing major accounts. Essential qualifications include solution or consultative sales experience within complex sales processes, proficiency in data management using Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and a strong understanding of Cloud and SaaS technologies. The role requires the ability to articulate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, a team-oriented mindset, and readiness to own and drive the territory. Experience in law enforcement or public safety is advantageous.
