Chime is seeking a Lead Analyst, Financial Crimes to enhance its transaction monitoring program aimed at identifying and investigating unusual activities across member accounts. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and banking partners to assess risks, uncover insights, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while safeguarding members. As a Lead Analyst, you will be instrumental in conducting thorough investigations and refining the detection and response mechanisms for financial crimes.

Key responsibilities include reviewing account activities using monitoring tools to detect potentially suspicious behaviors, working with vendor partners to maintain quality and productivity standards, and identifying emerging trends and transactional risks that require monitoring. The role also involves partnering with bank partners to evaluate risks and address escalations, updating processes and maintaining current documentation, recommending account actions based on findings, and analyzing data to identify trends or anomalies to contribute to process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in financial crimes, fraud, or risk investigations, with a strong understanding of AML regulations such as the BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, and SAR/UAR reporting. Proficiency in identifying suspicious activities and conducting comprehensive investigations is essential. Candidates should possess the ability to analyze transaction data to detect patterns or anomalies, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and thrive in high-volume environments. Experience in cross-functional collaboration and effective communication with external partners is also required. A CAMS certification is preferred.

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $139,000 to $193,000, depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
