Lead Consultant - Data Science & Artificial Intelligence
As a Lead Consultant in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence at Celonis, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating clients' digital transformation journeys. Celonis is a global leader in Process Intelligence technology, dedicated to optimizing business processes through advanced AI and data-driven solutions. This position is based in Madrid, Spain, within the strategic services organization that focuses on delivering tangible business value and driving product adoption for clients.
In this role, you will identify clients' strategic priorities and develop data-driven process insights using SQL, creating complex data models to ensure maximum value delivery. You will become an expert in various company processes, including Finance, Order Management, Procurement, Warehouse Management, Customer Service, Production, e-Commerce, Opportunity Management, and Supply Chain Management. Leveraging the latest features of the Celonis software, such as Process Analytics, Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML), you will design innovative analyses and operational applications to make clients' processes transparent and efficient.
Key responsibilities include leading Celonis implementation projects to address clients' pain points, designing and enriching analyses with AI and ML algorithms, and identifying process inefficiencies in close collaboration with clients. You will conduct value workshops to develop business cases, quantify financial potential, and present findings to management. Additionally, you will implement Process Automation technologies to enhance process speed, drive value, and improve process conformance rates. Establishing relevant KPIs to measure client success and ensuring their enablement for continuous process improvement are also integral parts of the role.
The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT consulting, management consulting, process improvement, or a similar field. Hands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques and proficiency with SQL or other programming languages such as Python, R, or Matlab are essential. A strong interest in Big Data, Data Mining, and Process Mining is required. Excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities in English, and a proactive, visionary approach are crucial. A completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information-oriented Business Administration/Economics, Mathematics, or a comparable field is necessary.
