Lead DevOps Engineer
The Lead DevOps Engineer at Cohere Health will collaborate closely with engineering teams to plan, deploy, and support high-availability solutions. This role involves implementing and managing tools that support the company's engineering infrastructure, coaching junior engineers on DevOps best practices, and ensuring a disciplined approach to healthcare security. The position is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Key responsibilities include working with engineers to plan and deploy high-availability solutions, implementing and managing monitoring and alerting tools, automating the compilation, testing, packaging, and release of the software platform, and continuously discovering and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency. The role also involves creating and driving the DevOps roadmap, partnering with management on cloud infrastructure cost optimization, and running quarterly disaster recovery exercises.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure management, with a strong preference for AWS. Experience in designing and managing highly scalable production infrastructure in regulated environments is essential. Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions, as well as experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning and automation technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, and Puppet, is required. Strong technical skills in Linux system administration, networking, application deployment, and at least one scripting language are also necessary.
