Lead, Products Audit
The Lead, Products Audit role at Moniepoint involves supporting the Chief Audit Officer and Directors in aligning the Internal Audit strategy with the company's overall business objectives. This position acts as an early warning system for business and financial risks, promoting business ethics and integrity within Moniepoint Microfinance Bank. The role requires a methodical and organized individual with strong data analysis, revenue assurance, and audit experience.
Key responsibilities include supporting internal audit projects and investigations through data analysis to identify hidden patterns and improve sampling approaches. The role also involves automating repetitive audit processes using data analysis and scripting techniques, developing audit plans and procedures, contributing to enterprise risk assessments, and monitoring regulatory compliance requirements and accounting practices. Additionally, the Lead, Products Audit will perform audit reviews, prepare reports, develop the competence of Audit Associates through training and coaching, and represent Internal Audit in meetings with other business divisions and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge and practical use of data analysis tools, preferably SQL, and have practical experience in revenue assurance. Basic knowledge of risk management procedures, internal audit processes, and regulatory compliance requirements is essential. The candidate should be driven, analytical, and have experience leading teams or team members, as well as providing data insights to senior management. Excellent communication skills, a self-driven attitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are also required.
