Lead Value Engineer - Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Industry
Celonis is seeking a Lead Value Engineer specializing in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry to bridge the gap between technical process mining, AI-driven automation, and strategic business outcomes. In this role, you will act as an architect for critical SaaS adoption workstreams within major CPG accounts, translating complex operational data and predictive insights into clear value drivers. As a key execution expert within our CPG go-to-market organization, you will link Celonis' Process Intelligence and AI capabilities to key outcomes specific to fast-moving consumer goods operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing clients' strategic priorities—such as omnichannel growth, margin protection, supply chain agility, and sustainability—and mapping them to high-impact, AI-augmented Celonis use cases. You will architect solutions that connect data across the value chain, optimizing complex ecosystems like demand planning, trade promotions management, logistics, and direct-to-consumer fulfillment. Additionally, you will construct robust, data-backed business cases that articulate the financial impact and SaaS ROI of process intelligence to senior management.
To be successful in this role, you should have over 8 years of relevant experience in finance, supply chain, or operations, ideally combining time at a CPG/FMCG company with management consulting, sales engineering, or driving digital/AI transformations. A deep understanding of the CPG value chain, particularly in areas such as demand and supply planning, logistics, trade promotions, or consumer/retail operations, is essential. Proficiency with business software/SaaS applications like SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud, or SAP IBP is also required.
