Machine Learning Engineer ll

As a Machine Learning Engineer II at Cohere Health, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to deploying machine learning models that automate complex administrative clinical processes. Cohere Health is a rapidly growing clinical intelligence company committed to enhancing patient care through advanced AI and deep clinical expertise.

In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning algorithms for retrieval, classification, and generative use cases. Your responsibilities will include building reliable and scalable production machine learning systems, writing and maintaining reusable codebases for data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment, and collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, clinicians, and technical leadership to align machine learning solutions with Cohere’s core objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, or a related field, along with over two years of experience in applied machine learning. A clear understanding of model building and maintenance, proficiency in Python with experience in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, and hands-on experience building deep learning models for natural language processing tasks are essential. Additional experience with generative AI, unstructured healthcare data, OCR techniques, or AWS tools like SageMaker Studio is advantageous.
