Manager of Inside Sales
As an Inside Sales Manager at Axon, you will lead a team of 7-10 Sales Representatives, including Account Executives and Inside Sales Representatives, to drive sales performance and align sales objectives with company goals. This role is based at Axon's Scottsdale Headquarters, with a hybrid schedule from Tuesday to Friday and requires 20% travel. Axon is a global leader in connected public safety technologies, offering an ecosystem of devices and cloud software aimed at protecting life and making communities safer.
In this position, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue and productivity targets. Your day-to-day activities will include monitoring and tracking individual performance, identifying strengths and areas for improvement, and providing clear evaluations with actionable developmental steps. You will coach, develop, and mentor sales reps to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge, ensuring the delivery of activity standards and the accurate use of for informed decision-making. Additionally, you will collaborate with other business functions to improve cross-functional processes and conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with each sales rep to review performance and strategize for future success.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an Inside Sales Management role and 4 years as an Inside Sales individual contributor, preferably in SaaS, Networking, Hosting, Cloud, or Telecommunications environments. Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel is essential. Strong leadership skills, the ability to foster a high-performance culture, and a commitment to continuous improvement are key attributes for success in this role.
