Chime is seeking a Product Security Manager to lead a team focused on cloud, data, and AI security within our Product Security organization. This role is pivotal in securing our cloud infrastructure, protecting sensitive data, and enabling the safe adoption of AI across our products and internal systems. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and data teams to ensure that modern systems, including AI-powered features, are designed and operated securely.

Key responsibilities include owning the security posture of cloud infrastructure, data systems, and AI-enabled applications across product surfaces. The manager will influence data, machine learning, and infrastructure team roadmaps, driving alignment on security priorities without direct authority. Additionally, the role involves partnering with engineering and product teams to embed security into system design and development workflows, leading and growing a team of security engineers, and defining strategies for securing cloud-native architectures and sensitive data at scale.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in security engineering, with significant expertise in cloud and/or data security, and at least two years of experience managing or leading security engineers. A strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern infrastructure patterns is essential. Experience in designing or securing systems that handle sensitive or regulated data, as well as securing or evaluating AI/ML systems, is highly desirable. Strong technical judgment, the ability to engage deeply in architecture and security discussions, and excellent communication skills to translate security risks into business impact are also required.

The base salary for this role ranges from $152,000 to $210,000 annually, depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits, generous vacation policy, and company-wide paid days off. Additional perks include backup child, elder, and/or pet care, a subsidized commuter benefit, an annual wellness stipend, and up to 24 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents.
