Manager, Software Technical Account Managers
As the Manager of Software Technical Account Managers at Axon, you will lead a team dedicated to supporting public safety agencies in the deployment and adoption of Axon's software solutions. Your team plays a critical role in ensuring successful post-sale implementation, technical stabilization, and fostering long-term customer relationships that drive retention and growth. In this role, you will be responsible for coaching and developing a team of Technical Account Managers (TAMs) operating across various engagement models, including embedded, regional, and traveling assignments. You will set clear standards for execution quality, customer engagement, and technical proficiency across Axon's hardware and software product lines. Additionally, you will oversee deployment planning, risk management, cross-functional coordination, and lifecycle support to ensure consistent and effective delivery of Axon's solutions.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in customer-facing technical delivery, program management, or complex technology deployment environments, with a minimum of 5 years leading senior individual contributors in high-accountability roles. Strong executive presence and confidence in engaging senior customer stakeholders are essential. Experience in scaling execution through distributed teams and leading both hardware and software deployments is highly desirable.
