As a Manager of Solutions Architects at Axon, you will lead a team dedicated to delivering technical excellence in solution architecture across Axon's Real-Time Operations (RTO) offerings. This role involves implementing and scaling high-quality solution design processes while providing strategic support for mission-critical, customer-facing engagements. You will spend approximately 80% of your time leading the team and managing project delivery, and 20% supporting complex or unique client engagements with technical depth, particularly in emerging or highly integrated deployments.

Key responsibilities include leading and developing a team of Solutions Architects focused on law enforcement, campus, and corrections customers. You will provide technical and project guidance to team members, ensuring consistent quality and productivity in solution delivery. Additionally, you will analyze and review IT system architectures to scope and recommend technical solutions, partner with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation and integration, and champion continuous process improvement in architecture, customer delivery, and team operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 4–6 years of experience in solution architecture or related technical leadership roles, and 1–3 years of direct supervisory or team leadership experience. Expertise in solution architecture frameworks, cloud technologies, and systems integration is essential. Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, experience in project management and business process analysis, and a basic understanding of integration coding methodologies are also required. Experience in the public safety sector, such as RMS/CAD implementations, is preferred. Candidates must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintain CJIS clearance.

Axon offers a competitive salary and 401k with employer match, discretionary paid time off, paid parental leave for all, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans. Additional benefits include fitness programs, emotional and mental wellness support, learning and development programs, and office snacks. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work.

At Axon, we are committed to building diverse teams that reflect the communities we serve. We encourage candidates who are excited about this role and our mission to Protect Life to apply, even if their experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification listed. Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
