As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer II at Axon, you will be an integral part of the Global Quality team, ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet or exceed our stringent quality standards and customer expectations. In this position, you will participate in the Axon Product Lifecycle (APL) process to ensure compliance with quality deliverables, including issue resolution (CAPA), validation plans, critical-to-quality (CTQ) identification, and quality monitoring implementation. You will lead nonconforming material reviews (NCMR/MRB), manage material dispositions with cross-functional teams, and drive 8D investigations and root cause analyses to implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Additionally, you will develop and maintain FAIRs, PPAP documentation, and AQL sampling plans for incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline, along with at least 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing quality engineering role. Experience with CAPA, RCA/8D, PPAP, FAIR, PFMEA, and validation activities is essential. A Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (CSSGB/CSSBB) or equivalent experience in process improvement is preferred. Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and relevant industry standards, proficiency in MS Office tools and statistical analysis software such as Minitab or JMP, and a solid understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, and inspection techniques are also required.
