Manufacturing Quality Engineer II (Onsite)
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer II at Axon, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products manufactured at our Kassel facility. Collaborating closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams, you will identify quality risks, resolve production issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to uphold our commitment to excellence.
Your primary responsibilities will include supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring product and process quality across incoming materials, in-process controls, and final product verification. You will lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D and RCA. Additionally, you will manage non-conforming materials, develop and maintain inspection plans, and support New Product Introduction activities, including validation plans and process control implementation.
To excel in this role, you should possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field, or have equivalent relevant experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality or production quality engineering is required. Proficiency with structured quality tools, familiarity with manufacturing quality processes, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, are also crucial.
