Member of Technical Staff - Mid-training

In this role, the primary responsibilities include scaling synthetic coding data to trillions of tokens using large-scale Docker verification, distilling the intelligence of flagship models into more efficient versions through synthetic data generation, optimizing mid-training data mixtures to enhance reinforcement learning capabilities, engineering long-context data recipes, and developing robust and diverse evaluations for mid-training checkpoints.

Candidates are expected to have expertise in machine learning and large model scaling, with a solid understanding of various scaling laws. A strong ability to design machine learning experiments is essential, along with familiarity with state-of-the-art techniques for curating AI training data across text, image, audio, and video modalities. Proficiency in engineering frameworks such as Spark and Ray for large-scale data processing is also required.

The compensation for this position ranges from $180,000 to $440,000 per year.
