Member of Technical Staff - Model Training

As a Member of Technical Staff specializing in Model Training at xAI, you will be integral to our mission of developing AI systems that accurately understand the universe and aid humanity in its pursuit of knowledge. Our team is small, highly motivated, and focused on engineering excellence, operating within a flat organizational structure that encourages hands-on contributions and direct impact on our objectives.

In this role, you will tackle the most critical modeling challenges as they arise, ensuring that our AI models are both effective and reliable. You will receive clarity on your initial project before an offer is extended, allowing you to understand the immediate impact of your work.

We are seeking individuals who view truth-seeking AI as the most important and challenging problem, are obsessed with building incredibly useful models, and are power users of AI models. While prior experience in training models used by millions is a significant plus, it is not a requirement. A strong work ethic, pride in your work, and the ability to thrive in a meritocratic environment are essential.

The compensation for this position ranges from $180,000 to $600,000 USD annually.
