Member of Technical Staff - Model Training
As a Member of Technical Staff specializing in Model Training at xAI, you will be at the forefront of developing AI systems designed to enhance humanity's understanding of the universe. In this position, you will tackle the most critical modeling challenges, focusing on building incredibly useful models that are utilized by millions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with team members to design, implement, and refine AI models, ensuring they align with our mission of creating truth-seeking AI systems. You will also be expected to share knowledge concisely and accurately, contributing to the collective growth of the team.
We are seeking individuals who are obsessed with building incredibly useful models and are power users of AI models. While prior experience in training models used by millions is a significant plus, it is not a strict requirement. A strong work ethic, excellent prioritization skills, and the ability to thrive in meritocratic environments are essential. Strong communication skills are also crucial, as you will need to effectively share knowledge with your teammates.
The compensation for this role ranges from $180,000 to $600,000 USD annually.
