As a Mobile Android Engineer at Axon, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to developing technology that enhances transparency and safeguards truth. Collaborating with skilled software engineers, product managers, and designers, you will create mobile experiences for established products, leveraging your expertise to innovate and deliver high-quality applications using the latest mobile technologies.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining features within Axon Device Manager, Axon Device Checkout, and Fleet 3 Dashboard. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop integrated solutions, focusing on execution and upholding high technical standards through code and design reviews.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in shipping Android applications to the Google Play Store, a deep understanding of mobile devices, and proficiency in modern architectures such as MVVM or MVI, including unit testing. Experience with Android tools like Retrofit, Coroutines, OkHttp, Hilt, and Jetpack Compose, as well as working with remote data via REST and JSON, is essential. Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, Server-Sent Events, and WebSockets is also required.
