Mission Software Engineer, Air Vehicle Autonomy, Frontend

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer to join the Air Dominance & Strike team, focusing on frontend development for air vehicle autonomy systems. This role involves designing and deploying real-time, map-based interfaces that display and interact with sensor data, contributing to Anduril's mission of transforming defense capabilities through advanced technology.

Key responsibilities include building immersive web-based platforms for image viewing, managing large data streams to ensure performant rendering, and collaborating with end-users to translate needs into functional features. The engineer will also take ownership of well-scoped projects and may travel up to 30% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience with frontend languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, along with a degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance is required.

The position offers a salary range of $138,000 to $252,000 USD annually, with highly competitive equity grants included in the compensation package.
