Senior Warhead Design Engineer

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Warhead Design Engineer to join their team in Costa Mesa, California. This role involves designing advanced explosive ordnance and munitions systems, contributing to the company's mission of transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through cutting-edge technology.

The engineer will be responsible for designing warheads and complex ordnance systems, transitioning them from prototype to production. This includes creating high-fidelity prototype parts for range testing, managing comprehensive testing processes, capturing and analyzing test data, and assembling explosive test articles and precision targets.

Candidates must possess a BS or higher degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a related engineering discipline, with 2-10 years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, and testing of naval ordnance or munitions systems. Proficiency in CAD tools such as NX or SolidWorks, experience with data acquisition and analysis, and the ability to travel up to 25% for testing are required. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance is also necessary.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $146,000 to $194,000, along with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans at little to no cost.
