Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer specializing in frontend development to join our Air Dominance & Strike team. This team is dedicated to developing advanced aerial and multi-domain robotic systems, including the Fury unmanned fighter jet and the Barracuda air-breathing cruise missile. Our mission is to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities through cutting-edge technology, and we are looking for individuals passionate about contributing to this goal.

In this role, you will design, build, and deploy real-time, map-based interfaces that display and interact with sensor data, enabling command of physical assets. Your responsibilities will include managing large streams of data to ensure performant rendering and creating immersive image-viewing experiences within a web-based platform. Collaboration with end-users to translate needs into features, while balancing user experience with engineering constraints, is a key aspect of the position. Additionally, you may be required to travel up to 30% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience using frontend languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React is required. Proficiency in developing frontend applications, particularly those that are data-intensive or map-based, is essential. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Anduril offers a competitive salary range for this position, estimated between $166,000 and $220,000 USD annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as work experience, education, and critical skills. In addition to salary, we provide highly competitive equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans at little to no cost, generous time off with a holiday hiatus in December, and family planning and parenting support.

Joining Anduril means becoming part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering real-world impact. We foster a culture that encourages continuous learning and professional growth, providing opportunities to work on challenging projects that directly contribute to national security. If you are passionate about developing mission-critical software and eager to make a difference, we invite you to apply.
