Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer to join its Air Dominance & Strike team, focusing on the development of aerial and multi-domain robotic systems. This role involves contributing to projects like Fury, an unmanned fighter jet, and Barracuda, an air-breathing cruise missile, as well as enhancing Lattice for Mission Autonomy, Anduril's premier software platform. The position is based in Washington, District of Columbia, United States.

The Mission Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying real-time, map-based interfaces for displaying and interacting with sensor data and commanding physical assets. Key tasks include managing large streams of data while maintaining performant rendering, building immersive image-viewing experiences in a web-based platform, and collaborating with end-users to translate needs into features. The role also requires up to 30% travel to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance. A strong engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics is required, along with at least 3 years of experience working with programming languages like Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, or JavaScript. Experience in building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis, as well as the ability to navigate complex systems and established code bases, is essential.

The salary range for this position is $166,000 to $220,000 USD annually.
